About Me
I’m Hailey - Breathwork Facilitator, self-exploration enthusiast, and firm believer that your connection with your breath holds the key to a more fulfilling and vibrant life.
My journey with Breathwork started five years ago when I realised that I felt like a stranger in my own life. I was living on autopilot - weighed down by stress, stuck in old patterns, and disconnected from what truly mattered.
That first Breathwork session changed everything. With only my breath, I found a layer of calm beneath the chaos. This gave me a whole new sense of clarity and ignited my passion for Breathwork.
Fast forward to today: I’m a certified Breathwork Facilitator, and I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of individuals and groups through transformational sessions. My approach blends science-backed techniques with intuitive guidance, making lasting shifts from overwhelm to calm, burnout to balance, and autopilot to presence.

When I’m not guiding Breathwork sessions, you’ll probably find me soaking up sunsets, near the ocean with friends, chasing the perfect coconut matcha latte, or getting lost in a good book. I’m all about finding little pockets of joy and presence in my everyday life - something Breathwork has helped me embrace more fully.
I am a Certified Breathwork Facilitator with Sacred Breath Academy: Holistic, Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator Training & Certification Program (400 hours); and a Certified Mindfulness Facilitator with Mindfulness New Zealand.


What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is an umbrella term for different breathing techniques that help improve wellbeing - there are thousands of variations! It can be as simple as a few deep breaths or as structured techniques for relaxation, stress release, and healing.
Our style is Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB), aka the superpower you didn’t know you had. It’s all about deep, rhythmic breathing in a continuous circular pattern - no pauses between the inhales and exhales, just pure flow. This helps us quiet the chattering monkey mind and get into a more expanded, zen-like state.
CCB lets you say goodbye to built-up stress and emotions, gives your energy a serious boost, and hits the ultimate reset button for your mind and body.

1. What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?
Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is a powerful, rhythmic breathing technique with no pauses in between the inhales and exhales. Imagine your breath moving like the ocean waves, flowing in and out of shore. This technique helps release stress, tension, and emotional blocks, while unlocking clarity, focus, self-awareness, and a deep sense of relaxation.
2. How long does a session last and what can I expect?
Sessions typically run between 60 to 120 minutes, and no two are ever the same! The format depends on the time we have and any specific intentions for the individual or group. You can expect an introduction to Breathwork, guided Breathwork with an immersive playlist, a grounding savasana, and time to reflect, share, and ask questions.
For all in-person sessions, we start with heart-warming cacao (gluten-free & vegan), and if you’re joining a 2-hour session, you’ll get to wrap up with tea and delicious snacks (also gluten-free & vegan) to help you land gently back into your day.
3. What are the benefits of Breathwork?
Breathwork can work absolute wonders for your mind, body, and soul! Think of it as a natural way to clear out the mental clutter and emotional sludge, allowing you to reconnect with yourself. Breathwork offers incredible benefits for both personal growth and professional well-being:

4. Is Breathwork safe for everyone?
Your safety and comfort always come first! While Breathwork is generally safe, there are some conditions where Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) isn’t recommended - such as if you’re in your first trimester of pregnancy, have cardiovascular disease, detached retina, glaucoma, severe asthma, kidney disease, epilepsy, or a history of angina, heart attack, stroke, aneurysm, or seizures.
For other conditions - like being in your 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy, taking anti-anxiety or antidepressant medication, managing ADHD/OCD, high blood pressure (regulated or on medication), or mild to moderate asthma - a gentler approach is best, and I’ll tailor the technique to suit your needs.

5. Do I need any experience to join a session?
Not at all! Breathwork is for everyone, whether you're a complete beginner or have practiced a thousand times before. I’ll guide you every step of the way, so all you need to do is arrive with an open mind.
6. What should I bring to a session?
Just yourself and a few cozy essentials! Wear comfy clothes, bring water, your journal for post-session reflections, and have a blanket nearby for extra comfort. If you’re joining online, set up your Breathwork nest in a quiet space where you can fully relax.
7. How will I feel after a session?
Everyone’s experience is different, but most people feel lighter, clearer, and deeply relaxed. Some feel an energy surge and mental clarity, while others experience an emotional release. It’s all part of the process and unique to every individual - your breath will guide you to what you need most.
8. Can Breathwork bring up emotions?
Absolutely - Breathwork can access deeper layers of emotion, which may have been sitting with you for days, weeks, or even years! This might bring up laughter, tears, or unexpected feelings; but not to worry - this is completely normal and part of the journey. You’re always in control, and I create and hold a safe space for you to be curious and process whatever comes up.
In a corporate setting, we focus on grounding and stress relief while still providing a safe space for self-awareness.
9. How often should I practice Breathwork?
It depends on what you’re looking for! Some people do gentle Breathwork daily for relaxation, others prefer deeper sessions fortnightly or monthly for emotional release, clarity, and transformation. Corporate teams may benefit from regular Breathwork sessions to improve workplace wellbeing. I can help you find a routine that works best for you and your goals.
10. Is Breathwork like meditation?
Similar, but different! While meditation focuses on stillness and quieting the mind, Breathwork is more active and energising - helping you to move through emotions and shift energy quickly. Think of it as a fast-track to mindfulness with a side of deep healing.
11. What’s the difference between Conscious Connected Breathwork and other types of Breathwork?
Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) involves a continuous, circular breath with no pauses. Other Breathwork styles - like box breathing (inhale-hold-exhale-hold) or the Wim Hof method (intense breathing with breath holds) - have different rhythms and effects. Each style serves a different purpose, but CCB is particularly powerful for body safety, self-exploration and emotional healing, as our technique is parasympathetic-led - promoting relaxation, recovery, and balance.
12. I’m nervous about trying Breathwork. Is that normal?
Absolutely! Breathwork is a powerful practice, and it’s completely normal to feel a little hesitant before your first session. But trust me - once you begin, you’ll see how natural, freeing, and supportive the experience is. You’re always in control, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
